A necklace and earrings mounted with a collection of faience, coral and cornelian beads.
Beads: Egypt, New Kingdom, late 2nd Millennium BC
necklace 19.5 cms wide, earrings c. 6.2 cms long
Intact as shown, fully wearable. The necklace retains its shape by using curved wires in the central portion.
Ex. private collection, East Boldon, Tyne and Wear, UK; acquired in Egypt in 1945.
Accompanied by a certificate from the licensed dealership of M. A. Mansoor, Cairo, Egypt, dated 7th March 1945.
