Cypriot or Egyptian Late Bronze Age decorated pottery jug
C68£450.00
Available
A pottery jug with an incised strap handle and applied linear relief decoration on the body. The shape and decoration of this jug is similar to Base Ring Ware vessels but the lack of burnish is unusual. It may be indicative of experimentation by a Cypriot potter or perhaps manufacture elsewhere (most likely Egypt) copying Cypriot decoration and form.
