Phoenician Achziv Ware pottery jug, possibly CypriotC53
An elegant orange/red burnished pottery jug with a trefoil lip and arched handle. This type of pottery is sometimes referred to as Achziv Ware and is characterised by the fine slip burnish and undecorated surface. The addition of the small pellet lug below the handle (not normally found on Levantine exampes) may point to Cypriot influence.
