A substantial sheet-bronze figure depicting Horus as a falcon wearing the double crown of Egypt. The wings are decorated with stylised feather patterns and the eyes are inlaid with bone and opaque black glass. The figure is hollow and filled with a clay core.

Condition
Some compression damage to the legs; cracks and minor losses to the sheet bronze as seen in the photographs, the inlaid eyes have been re-attached

Ex. private collection, Denmark; part of an ethnographica collection acquired in the mid to late 20th Century. Supplied with a fitted 1940’s-50’s wood display block.
