Egyptian Naqada blacktop burnished pottery vase

A burnished red pottery vase with a black top and interior. This distinctive zoned colouring was acheived by partially burying the pot during the firing process so that parts of the clay would not be exposed to oxygen.

Some chipping on the rim and general light surface wear as shown in the photographs

Egyptian sandals

The sandals have just arrived thank you. Unfortunately they don’t fit me so I have put them in my display cabinet where they look amazing along with the rest of my antiquities. Once again thank you and happy Christmas to you both.
