A green glazed faience shabti figure with fine moulded details and inscription. The inscription on the front of the legs reads: “The Osiris, Her-ib-Bastet, born to Tas-nakht-Iset”.

Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 30th Dynasty, c. 380-343 BC; possibly from Tell Bastet

Condition
Repaired on the legs, minor surface wear and chipping as seen in the photographs

Provenance
Ex. deceased estate, Devon, UK; acquired by inhertance from a collection formed c. 1910-1920.
