A green glazed faience shabti figure with moulded details and inscription. The shabti is inscribed “The Osiris (…) Hor-irt, born of Mer-Neith-tefes(?).
Egypt, reputedly found in Memphis; end of Late Dynastic Period, early to mid 4th Century BC

Repaired from four pieces, a few small chips on the back
Ex. collection: Julian Bird, London, UK; acquired in Christies, London, 2007. Formerly in Blanchard’s Egyptian Museum, Cairo (early 20th Century). An old inventory number on the dorsal pillar.
