A fine carved alabaster stemmed chalice-cup with a waisted body and elegantly flared rim.
Egypt, New Kingdom, 19th Dynasty, c. 1292-1189 BC
10.1 x 6.8 cms
One side of body/rim repaired with minor associated losses, base with several losses as seen in the photographs. Brown accretions around the rim (not restoration) and residue of ancient contents in the base of the interior. The vessel would benefit greatly from professional restoration.
