Greek Apulian Chevron Group red figure pottery kraterG33
A Chevron Group red figure pottery bell krater (wine mixing bowl) with painted decoration. One side depicts a female profile head facing a sistrum, the other side shows a seated female figure holding a thyrsus and pyxis.
Kraters belonging to the Chevron Group are so named due to the distinctive black-painted chevron decoration below the rim.
