A pottery stemmed dish painted with a cross sub-divided by dot circles within a wave border. This type of vessel is known as a Genucilia dish and was most popular in the Republican era within Italy. Despite numerous finds in tombs, sanctuaries and votive deposits their exact function remains unknown and it is supposed that they functioned as serving vessels for food.
