A fragment from a Jewish lead sarcophagus consisting of a roundel with relief decoration in the form of a menorah surrounded by vines and two grape clusters.

Holy Lands, Roman period, 1st to 3rd Century AD

Size:
21.8 cms maximum diameter

Condition:
Fragment, the edges around the roundel have been cut down and shaped to give the appearance of a complete object
