Byzantine large sgraffito pottery bowl

A large pottery bowl with an incised tondo decorated with three interlinked spirals. The surface was originally glazed but this has been eroded leaving the cream slip surface below. The erosion and remains of surface accretions indicate that this bowl was recovered from the sea and probably originates from a shipwreck.
