A striking moulded pottery stirrup vase shaped as a male head with strong features and wearing disc-shaped earrings.

Condition
Stirrup-shaped handle lost with two associated holes on the forehead and back of head (the latter having been filled by a mid 20thC restorer), there are some cracks around these holes. There is also a hole under the base which appears to have been made intentionally. The surface is largely worn but retains some original burnish under the chin.
