A fine bronze vase with a globular body set on an integral pad base and rising to a long neck terminating in a flared mouth.

West Asia, Mesopotamia, possibly Akkadian, end of 3rd Millennium BC
Size:
14 x 10 cms
Condition:
Some dents and cracking on one side due to an old impact, otherwise in fine condition with a smooth old surface patina
Provenance:
Ex. private collection, Paris, France; with Thierry de Maigret, Paris, France.

Egyptian sandals

The sandals have just arrived thank you. Unfortunately they don’t fit me so I have put them in my display cabinet where they look amazing along with the rest of my antiquities. Once again thank you and happy Christmas to you both.
