A bronze beaked jug with an open spout and riveted handle on the back of the body. The body of the jug has been embellished by a 20th Century forger with the inauthentic addition of repousse hunting scenes. The decoration is not ancient.

Condition
Losses/cracks to spout, base and rim, and a couple of patches of restoration on the body. The decoration on the body has been added in the last 70 years and is not ancient

Ex. private collection, Suffolk, UK; acquired on the UK art market in the late 20th Century
