Tepe Hissar grey stone female idol figureM86
A carved grey stone female idol with a flat profile, triangular lower body and out-stretched arms. The breasts are denoted with two piercings on the chest and the head is also pierced, the head piercing appears to be a feature which recurs on this type of idol rather than being indicative of use as a pendant or amulet.
