A soft-wood spoon or utensil handle with carved decoration. The base of the handle starts with a scrolling papyrus column which rises into a lotus blossom and supports a tilapia fish. The mouth of the tilapia fish is pierced in order to hold a further section, most likely a spoon bowl.
