A solid gold ring with a stirrup mount, set with an oval cabochon polished pink sapphire.

Indonesia, Java, c. 8th to 13th Century AD
Size
2.4 x 2.5 cms maximum external dimensions, approximate finger size UK J/K, US 5 1/4. The shank is slightly compacted so could be enlarged slightly by returning to its original shape (about size L/6).
Condition
Intact as shown, slightly compressed but very wearable
Provenance
Ex. private collection, Cornwall, UK; acquired from Simon Ray Gallery, St James’, London.
