A Bichrome Ware squat pottery jug painted in the Freefield Style with two stylised wading birds separated by a pair of reeds on the front of the vase. The vessel is otherwise plain apart from a collar on the neck, a pair of painted eyes on the pinched rim and a zig-zag pattern on the back of the handle.
