Provenance
Ex. estate of Professor Victor Chan (1947-2020), Alberta, Canada and thence by inheritance. Acquired from George Lambor, 183 King’s Road, London SW3, UK, on the 7th October 1981. A copy of Professor Chan’s 1981 purchase order is included with this item.

Victor Chan taught art history at the University of Alberta, retiring as Professor Emeritus in 2000. George Lambor was the founding chairman of the Antiquities Dealers Association.
