A blue glazed steatite scarab with inscribed base, mounted in an early 20th Century gold pin-brooch.

Condition
Scarab intact as shown. The scarab is set in a 19th Century yellow gold claw mount, the was later adapted for use as a brooch with a red gold bar-pin (this pin has been repaired but remains functional).
