The upper part of a tumbaga gold and copper pendant in the form of a human figure holding an instrument in front of his head.

Tumbaga is the name given to an amalgam of pure gold and copper which was widely used for ornamental metal-working in Pre-Columbian America. The ratios of metal were variable but through chemical reduction and burnishing a fine layer of pure gold was acheived on the outer surface.
