Ex. collection: Gustave Mustaki, Alexandria, Egypt; collection exported from Egypt under license in 1947. Ex. estate of Professor Victor Chan (1947-2020), Alberta, Canada and thence by inheritance. Acquired from Tetragon Antiquities, London, on the 18th February 1989 (a copy of the Tetragon receipt statine Mustaki provenance is included with this item).

Victor Chan taught art history at the University of Alberta, retiring as Professor Emeritus in 2000.
