A black glaze pottery cup with everted sides and a squat ring foot.
This piece of elegant and functional Greek pottery presumably remained in circulation for over 200 years in antiquity as it was excavated from a Celtic necropolis in Provence dating to the 1st Century BC, suggesting it had been buried with its owner as a highly valued possession.
