A large pottery jug with a spout mounted on the front of the shoulder which is modelled as a woman pouring from a jug. The surface of the jug is covered in a red slip and decorated with black and white horizontal painted bands.
These large jugs with their charming and distinctive figure decoration on the spout are thought to have been developed at the site of Marion to compete with Greek vases which were being increasingly imported to Cyprus in the 6th and early 5th Century BC.
