A steatite scarab decorated on the base with a rope-twist pattern separating four stylised cobra-heads arranged in a geomteric pattern. The scarab is set in a mid 20th Century silver pendant mounting also decorated with a Greek-style coin (not ancient).

1.7 x 1.3 cms, 3.5 cms including later mounting and coin pendant

 Condition
Some light surface chipping, not examined outside of the silver mounting

Provenance 
Ex. private collection, Exmouth, Devon, UK; acquired in Egypt c. 1940’s-1950’s.
