A bronze oil lamp with a long nozzle and squat round foot. The back-plate of the handle is shaped as a Christian Cross.

Lid lost, some small erosion holes on the body and some damage to the handle behind the cross

Provenance
Ex. collection: Professor Einar Utzon-Frank, Denmark (1888-1955). Utzon-Frank was a sculptor and a long-standing professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts; he visited Italy and Greece between 1912 and 1913, at which time this lamp may have been collected. Utzon-Frank was the uncle of the renowned Danish architect Jorn Utzon.
